Natalia is a strong believer in a positive mindset.

Her life mantra is:

"If you can dream it, you can do it!" - Walt Disney

Natalia Meksa is originally from Poland where she began her adventure with dance. Moving abroad to study dance was the biggest financial challenge she faced. Nevertheless, she made her dream come true and moved to London to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Natalia's career as a dancer would have not been possible without the generous financial support of the charities. Her future goal is to create a charity to support young artists with limited financial means.

In 2022, Natalia completed her MA in Dance Performance and Professional Practices at the University of Salford in Manchester. As a part of this programme, Natalia was also a dancer with Emergence dance company directed by Joss Arnott. The company was on the national UK tour performing works choreographed by four wonderful choreographers: Gosia Mielech, Joss Arnott, Vidya Patel and Kevin Finnan. Natalia's role in the company was Rehearsal Director. Throughout that time Natalia was often leading company classes and rehearsals for her peers. This role allowed Natalia to develop her leadership and teaching skills.

Natalia's dance studies would have not been possible without the generous support from the Tameside Polish Community Charity and The Wanda and Janusz Prawdzic-Szlaski Trust.

Before joining Emergence, Natalia graduated with BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. During her studies, Natalia performed in works choreographed by Zoi Dimitriou and Hubert Essakow. She danced in the piece 'The Front Has a Back' by Ellen van Schuylenburch performed in Tate Modern in London. She also danced in the restaging of 'OH MY GODDESS' by Michael Clark Company directed by Kate Coyne and Melissa Hetherington. Throughout this time, Natalia did work placements with Carte Blanche in Norway and with AVA Dance Company in West Midlands in the UK.

Pursuing the dream of studying dance at Trinity Laban would have not been possible without the educational grants from The Berek Charitable Trust, The Blue Coat Foundation and The Financial Support Fund from Trinity Laban.

Before moving to the UK, Natalia completed a scholarship diploma in Ballet and Contemporary Dance at Neoclassica Ballet Centre in Warsaw. Besides she was also performing on a freelance basis with Warsaw Ballet under the artistic direction of Natalia Maria Wojciechowska.

Natalia also works as a freelance dance artist, yoga teacher and dance teacher. In 2018, she performed at London Fashion Week, promoting Edeline Lee’s S/S 2019 collection. She performed site-specific works by Emanuela Passadore, Angella Poulima and Sasha Pirogova for Art Night, London. Natalia choreographed and danced in music videos such as 'Cloaked' by Rolo Tomassi, 'Pico Sacro' by Sons of Exodus and 'David' by Night Flight, choreographed by Elizabeth Arifien. In the summer of 2021, in collaboration with Marta Swierczynska, Natalia choreographed and performed 'The Glimpse of Touch' for the event at the Secret Art Gallery in London. Natalia is very passionate about merging dance with different art forms and she loves creative collaborations.
